About Catfish University ...
Catfish U was built to promote catfishing to the next level that
some other "game" fish are on. Catfish U intends to grow the general
awareness, promote the sport, and give catfishermen and catfisherwomen a place
to learn different catfishing techniques and a place to share their knowledge
with other catfish enthusiasts.
Catfish U will make Catfish CPR a common phrase among catfish men
and women. To keep the big cats around for generations to come, we need to
Catch-Photograph-Release all the big catfish that we catch. Catfish U
also hopes to bring companies online with catfish unique gear, whether it be
catfish rods, catfish reels, catfish nets, boats set up for catfishing, or
anything else specifically targeted for catfishing. With that said, we
need catfishing people across the globe to join our Newsletter. The more
people we get to join, the more offers we can bring you from tackle, boat,
equipment, and other companies. In talking with several different
established companies, they are willing to offer Catfish U Newsletter members
special deals, just for them, but they want to see numbers to see that
catfishing is a serious sport and recreation. So please, sign up for our

We do not want Catfish U to become the biggest or baddest
catfishing site out there, we just want to be able to point you to those sites.
We thought about a forum section but there are many catfishing forums out there
you can join. Again, we are trying to promote the general awareness and
promote the sport - not reinvent the wheel.
There are numerous visions Catfish U was built upon. Please
browse around the site and get a feel for the vision we are trying to
accomplish. Areas include catfish tournaments (making catfish tournaments
as big as other "game" fish), catfish guides, catfish videos, catfish news,
catfish forums, catfish rods - reels - terminal tackle, and other areas.
Catfish U will only accomplish it's vision with people like you -
the catfish people. With many different visitors and members, the big guys
will see that catfishing people take this sport seriously and so should they.
